Vienna Transitional Kitchen
Transitional Kitchen In Vienna
When this busy Vienna mom came to MJA Design, she knew that she wanted to create an inviting space where all of the neighborhood kids could come after practice, and enjoy snacks while completing their homework. A well-stocked pantry with five rollout shelves is tucked behind a decorative door, and a beverage refrigerator keeps sodas and wine chilled at the perfect temperature. A peninsula sink allows the children to wash their hands or get a drink of water while their mom uses the main sink to fill a pot of water for pasta, or peel vegetables.
Super Susans are hidden behind Seaside doors painted Arctic White, while glass-front cabinets showcase cherished servingware. Q Premium natural quartz countertops in Stellar White provide ample prep surface, and sets off an MSI Carrara backsplash in a Marble Chevron pattern. A five-foot wide Anderson wood casement window brings in natural illumination in the kitchen, and a French door in the dining room can be opened on nice days to bring the outdoors in, as it features a retractable screen.
This transitional kitchen provides plenty of space for the children to sit and study while she prepares nutritious meals for them. A KitchenAid double oven with four tray dividers, a Wolf range top with a griddle, a KitchenAid refrigerator, and a GE Monogram microwave ensure that she has everything that she needs to feed hungry growing children.
